Indoor and Outdoor Events

Indoor Events often have sophisticated requirements with respect to lighting (to add life to a presentation or even simply just to address the absence of natural light), sound (so that voices and other components of the presentation can be heard by audience members throughout the venue), and camerawork (to help audience members see what is happening on stage and for broadcast of the event either live or at a later time). Insight CEO, Dr Mark Griffin, works as part of audiovisual team at New Life Church. Mark was also a volunteer providing technical services at the 2025 AACTA Festival on the Gold Coast.

Outdoor events experience additional complexity as audiences are often larger and flow through the event space in a more complex manner. In addition outdoor weather can contribute to an unknown situation. Insight CEO, Dr Mark Griffin, works with outdoor events (including the 2018 Commonwealth Games, the 2024 Gold Coast 500, and the 2024 Pan Pacific Masters Games).

Insight works with indoor and outdoor events, and also provides training about working with such events.
