
Sport and Recreation
Technology plays a vital role in sport and recreation including monitoring indoor and outdoor environments (such as the weather and other safety concerns), keeping records (such as the score within sporting events), and broadcasting such events to in-person and online audiences.
Insight is actively involved in the sport and recreation sector (both in providing technical support and as sporting participants and leaders). Insight CEO, Dr Mark Griffin, is an intern at Queensland Scuba Diving where he is just starting his Divemaster qualification. Mark is also actively involved in the Social Sport program at Griffith University and a member of the Griffith University Sport Development Association. Further Insight has provided technical support for a number of sport and recreational events including the 2018 Commonwealth Games, the 2024 Gold Coast 500, and the 2024 Pan Pacific Masters Games). Another branch of Insight (Insight Leisure Training & Technologies) takes the lead with our activities with sport and recreation sector.
Insight provides services for those working in sport, and also provides training about sport and recreation.
